High Line Park is located 2.3 kilometer-long air track which was built in the 1930s, but was no longer in use. When the transport facilities on the roads increased, the track was used in the air less and less. The last train ran on this track aircraft in 1980.
High Line Park's construction costs were estimated in 2003 to pay $ 150 million. The city has basically been in this book. Eric's note: High Line Park is in my opinion a truly unique park in New York. The park is beautiful, offers a unique view of the city and is a real piece of urban nature. High Line Park is at its best in spring and summer. In winter, the park is less vegetation, but it is still worth a visit.
