Jim W August 14, 2013 at 08:28 PM That is really too bad. They were a good business, with a delicious and very fairly priced product. They had very polite and positive local kids who worked there. Lastly, they supported our local school district.
drez August 15, 2013 at 10:32 AM Their food was great and service outstanding! They will be missed.
Sarah C August 15, 2013 at 10:36 AM We just moved to Plainfield and Papa Murphy's has been a favorite in our house. It's hard to find a good pizza place. Hopefully they will open up at a different location. The service was great!

drez carol monte August 15, 2013 at 03:24 PM Off topic, but since the Patch is too busy being downsized by their corporate parent they don’t have time/resources to follow up on anything anymore, I have to ask. Does anyone know what the status is of the Village selling off the former Baci Restaurant building they bought a while back and sank a bunch of money into?
Shannon Antinori (Editor) August 15, 2013 at 03:34 PM Gee, drez, I did an update about a month back (haven't had a chance to check for the link yet, but I'll find it and send it to you — the only "news" was that they repaired/fixed the sign, but no buyer yet), but I'd be more than happy to check into that ... all you had to do was ask. But thanks for reading!
Shannon Antinori (Editor) August 15, 2013 at 03:37 PM Here's a link to a bit of an update on the old Baci building: http://plainfield.patch.com/groups/business-news/p/italian-eatery-moving-into-downtown-plainfield carol monte I've got a call in to the village, but as far as I know, not much has changed since then.
Tanya Leonard August 15, 2013 at 10:27 PM I am deeply saddened to hear this. This is my absolute favorite pizzeria! No one will EVER top their pizza-making abilities or customer carol monte service. You can guarantee I will never shop in the Berkshire Place Shopping Center again.
Ellectra Schwegler November 19, 2013 at 09:36 PM I was a shift supervisor at Papa Murphys for six years. It was my first job when I was 16. Not only was our crew a family our customers were as well. It's really a shame that we had to close.
